Our Story

Established in 2020, Cooper’s Club Chicago got its name from my dog, Cooper — the dog who started it all. During COVID, like many people, I was spending more time at home and taking daily walks with Cooper around our neighborhood. Because so many people around me knew how much I loved animals, I started helping friends in my building by taking their dogs out when they were too busy working from home or stopping by to give their pets some extra attention, playtime, and love during the day. What began as a few small favors quickly grew through word of mouth, trust, and a shared love for animals. Since then, Cooper’s Club has proudly cared for more than 150 animals in and around Chicago. As life became busier again and people returned to offices and traveling, our mission stayed the same: helping pet parents feel confident that their animals are safe, cared for, and loved while they’re away.

Hi, I’m Aimee

Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up in a home with multiple pets, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. During graduate school, I got my dog, Cooper — the same Cooper who inspired the name Cooper’s Club.

Today, my husband and I share our home with both a dog and a cat. My cat was originally a feral kitten living on the street, and after feeding and caring for him over time, he slowly began to trust me. Eventually, I brought him home for good.

Outside of pet sitting, we love taking our dog on walks by the lake, visiting local dog parks, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
